After several Disney days and quite a bit of shopping, this was a significant benefit. The walk is straightforward and manageable, even after a long day in the parks. Hotel 414 Anaheim is family-run, and you feel that from the very first moment. Always check with organizer before making travel plans

OC’S LONGEST STANDING
LGBTQ+ BAR

The saloon décor emulates a swanky lounge, dimly lit with deep red pin tucked banquettes, velvet embossed walls, avant-garde photography, and dark hardwood floors creating an intimate vibe for guests of our home.

The Tin offers special events throughout the year showcasing local music selectors, cocktail specials, and two smoking patios, creating that weekend vibe for our community.

Gay Days Anaheim at Disneyland – LGBTQ+ Travel & Nightlife Inspiration2026

Gay Days Anaheim

“Red shirts, roller coasters, and rainbow vibes in the shadow of Disneyland.”

Gay Days Anaheim turns the Disneyland Resort into a sea of red shirts and queer joy each year.

The service and the drinks are always on point."

Very cute and cozy and welcoming to everyone! Hotels on Harbor Boulevard or West Katella Avenue keep you close to the gates.

Hotel 414 Anaheim is certified as a Travel Proud property. We felt welcome, accepted, and safe as a gay couple throughout our stay. The beds are comfortable, the shower water is reliably warm, and the air conditioning works when you need it. It is about a ten- to fifteen-minute walk to the entrance area of both Disney parks, the Disneyland Esplanade.

Disney, Anaheim, and Us: Couple of Men Exploring the Disneyland Resort

Hotel in Anaheim: Practical, Familiar & Just Right for Disney Days

We consciously chose the same hotel again for our stay in Anaheim. We usually book a room with two queen beds. It does not cost more than a king bed, but it gives us extra space to unpack, organize our things, and prepare for our Disney days.

Feeling Welcome, Accepted, and Safe as a Men’s Couple

One detail that matters to us and that we want to mention explicitly is the hotel’s participation in Booking.com’s Travel Proud program.

  • "I have been around the block a couple times. At check-in, we were welcomed warmly again, personally and without any distance. It means knowing that even a small, family-run business has actively engaged with topics such as equality, LGBTQ+ awareness, and non-discrimination.

You can dial the intensity up or down.

Between park days, you can escape to nearby beaches or plan a side trip into Los Angeles for nightlife. It is a good option for those who like queer events but also love rides and fireworks. Others plan every gathering and stay out late.

The mood is light and social rather than heavy.

Expect families, couples, groups of friends, and plenty of solo travelers who find new park buddies fast.

Days revolve around the parks. Photo ops happen at every corner, from castle shots to character cameos.

Beyond the rides, the weekend programme usually includes pool parties, evening events, and a small expo with community groups and merchants.

    Very throwback, 70's-80's, beautiful.
