The state is home for one of the largest populations of LGBTQ people - that calls for a cellebration!

The areas around Dupont Circle and Adams Morgan are the home to exciting bars, nice cafes, great restaurants and a lot of shops.

Capital pride is one of the major events of the year and is in June. Outside, we have an expanded patio area that now includes a large streatery and cocktail servers.

We are proud to say that we were just named 2022 BEST GAY BAR IN DC in the annual "Best of DC" contest in the Washington Blade newspaper.

How do I get to the city from the airport when traveling to Washington D.C.?

Getting from the airport to downtown D.C. is a piece of cake. And you can redeem your receipt for your free drink until 8pm.
This is good for any drink...from our signature mojitos to martinis to beer to wine...everything.

There are various meetups and social groups tailored to different interests within the LGBTQ+ community. Some annual or recurring LGBTQ+ events you shouldn't miss are DC Black Pride in May and Reel Affirmations, D.C.'s International LGBTQ+ Film Festival, in October. Trade's "XL Happy Hour" is every day until 8 p.m. The 10,000+ square foot building features plenty of flat screens for sports fans, darts, video games, a lesbian bar, and two spacious patios.

We pride ourselves on offering a safe space for our Queer women and with our fantastic manager Barbie and amazing staff, you’re sure to have a great time.

DC's queer women have long deserved a space of their own.

Our happy hours are quite popular and nighttime gets even busier with djs playing music videos on the second floor. If you're feeling adventurous, bike-sharing services like Capital Bikeshare can be a delightful way to see the city!

The diversity of DC’s LGBTQ+ community is growing by the day, resulting in a dynamic, exciting community with plenty of bars and clubs to choose from when it’s time to drink, dance and play.
