FOR SHAME PEOPLE - try and come from a place of love, although sadly I feel so many cold dark hearts on here that I doubt they would understand the concept. I didn’t agree with every point she made, but she was convincing in many respects. :) And I love bling. Especially since you are the Big Lover! This world we live in is tough and closed minded people and bashers will get their kharma someday.
They eventually developed feelings for one another, but their opposing religious backgrounds kept them apart. I am an American just like everyone else. Oy vie - the sin of it all - I can’t believe I watched that. Instant Karma’s gonna get ya.

hmmm. Rights can't be won if you are hiding in a closet instead of being out and fighting. So, there will always be a difference. Most blacks in America have been here a long time (their ancestors have) so they are just American, IMO.
Anyway, I went to grad school w/a super smart lady who wrote an interesting paper in which she argued that the civil rights struggle should not be compared to the gay rights struggle.
Robin insisted that she couldn’t pursue a relationship with anyone who didn’t share her same religious beliefs. LOL
