Nearly all the private nighttime parties during Gay Days weekends are only for guests 21 years of age or older, the legal drinking age in the United States.

Is Pride Nite appropriate for young guests and children?
Absolutely.
You’ll see a fair share of kids with pairs of moms or dads, and more than one ‘guncle’ who’s vying for the Uncle of the Year award.

Gay Days in the theme parks are appropriate for guests of all ages.
Because the members of the community are extra visible — wearing red t-shirts, Disney Pride apparel, rainbow mouse ears, etc.
Celebrating LGBT+ History Month With Disneyland Gay Days
Gay Days at Disney World was so popular that the festivities eventually spread to the west coast as well.

They rode on Space Mountain and took a tour of Tomorrowland on the PeopleMover, their arms around each other.
As Crusader remembers it, none of the mostly teenage crowd even noticed.
Some safety measures at Disney are obvious, like the bag checks and metal detectors you go through before entering the parks.
Even so, that first Saturday in June is a Florida tradition, and you should expect to see a good representation of queer folks, especially those who aren’t inclined to visit big circuit parties.

What’s the difference between Pride Nite and Gay Days at Disneyland?
Pride Nite is an event created and hosted directly by The Walt Disney Company.

It makes absolutely no difference to me. Bob Gurr, a legendary Imagineer who designed many of the park's original attractions, is doing a Q&A on what it was like to be a gay employee at the park's inception.

After its initial success, Gay Days began to add other small events, such as cocktail gatherings and parties.

The meetup time depends on the temperamental Florida weather, but expect the meetup around 3 – 4 PM. Ask around — someone will know.
