Oneida Campground & Lodge | New Milford
Oneida Campground & Lodge has been around since 1980, making it the oldest continuously operated LGBTQ campground in the U.S. With two ponds, a dock on East Lake, a heated pool with a spill-over spa, and regular themed weekends, it’s no wonder this place has been going strong for so long.
Whether you’re looking for a rustic tent site or one with electricity and water, Oneida has options.
Membership is required for all stays or visits. It’s located 75 miles out of Philly and NYC, and its a great getaway for the entire Northeast. A nearby favorite recommended by the staff is Rogue Tacos – we agree!
“A big thank you to the staff. Whether it’s the liberating vibe at The Woods in the Pocono Mountains, the tight-knit community feel at Camp Out Mt.
Nebo, or the jaw-dropping lakeside views at Virginia’s Beach, there’s something here for everyone.
These spots offer a little bit of everything—varied accommodations, tons of activities, and a strong sense of community that makes everyone feel at home. The pool and hot tub was perfect for a relaxing evening. While tents and popup campers are welcome, RVs are a no-go.
You’re in reach of everything the Poconos has to offer, from outdoor adventures (hiking, horseback, ATV) to shopping, dining, bars, the casino, and more.
You’re just 15 minutes from Trackside Grill & Bar where you can get a great hamburger. You’ll find drag artists, the Piano Lounge, live bands, and theme weekends.
There’s a saltwater pool and a jacuzzi.
The secluded sites give you all the privacy you need, making it the perfect retreat from the daily grind.
How about an all-male, clothing-optional retreat? We came up for a short tour and visit, only to end up staying the night. Just pack your bags and BYOB. Poolside hangouts, weekend pool parties that keep the vibe going, bonfires under the stars, and nightlife entertainment will make you want to dance the night away.
The best part?
Great location. Even National Geographic gave a shout-out to the sunsets here!
You’ve got options—whether it’s a lakefront cottage, a rustic cabin, or an RV site, there’s something for everyone. Visit campoutpoconos.com for more details.
